Disassembled the rear shocks, bead blasted the aluminum and repainted the springs.

hi how do you pull apart the shocks
The spring is “threaded” onto the upper and lower shock body. To disassemble, simply twist the one of the shock mounts counterclockwise while the other is kept from turning.
