Just stumbled on your restoration. I had this bike as a kid and was the envy of the neighborhood! I think my parents said it cost $150 in 1976. It was a blast to ride and I developed really good leg muscles as a kid, because that sucker was HEAVY. It jumped well and the suspension really helped smooth out the ride.
Great job on the restoration! Thanks for triggering my memory.
Any idea where to find the. Seat and decals ?
On one of my moto-bike restorations, I bought a replacement banana seat from Niagara Cycle and reworked it to match the shape and mounting points of the original seat. At the time I had another moto-bike with an original seat and when done they looked very close. Here’s a post describing what I did.
The decals are easy to come by. Speed & Sport sells replica decals on eBay. I’ve ordered them several times. They’re indistinguishable from the originals. You can find them by searching for “moto bike decals” on eBay.
